I'm looking to get an amp with as much power as possible, that I can use for daily driving! I am thinking about an Earthquake D2 but have heard they are no good for daily driving, any recommendations?

If by daily driver you mean reliable and able to withstand the day to day beating amps get, i would recomend any reputable American brand such as ARC, PPI, JL, MTX, XTANT, Rockford, etc. I have not used earthquake so cannot personally comment but general consensus seems to be they blow up lots.

I would suggest Kicker. Wicked amps. well the ZR series neways. seriously underated and can take a beating n keep on goin. or if u r on a budget JBL 600.1 and 1200.1 are both kick ass amps.

I use a Massive Audio RS-100 as my daily driver amp and I do pizza delivery, so I'm running it quite often and it has never shutdown, even when I run it at 1ohm

its only running at 4ohm, so it isnt gonna see 1ohm..ever! well maybe someday

ChrisB 08-15-2003 06:59 AM

jinx 08-15-2003 10:08 AM

right now, 750wrms!
But I'm looking to upgrade to better subs soon with double power!
