Hello, I got an offer on a new Alpine IXA-W404 double din media reviever. I was just wondering if its possible to make my truck a double din? it only seems like i need to shave a 1/2 inch off, is it possible? easy?
does anyone have pics of it being done?

Possible? Sure.

Easy? Not so much. It's a custom job.

 

the stock is 1 1/2din and you have the vents on top it 1998-2000 2000-and up there on the side i think but there is room to cut but as dukk told you custom job
