In-Dash Video

All right.......we see a lot more In-dash Video coming to the market so my question to you out there is: Do you hook up the Video Screen to the Parking Brake?

I for one hook it up to the Park Brake wire, I really do not want the headache when Joe Jack *** Customer runs a red light and kills a family of five coming home from Sunday School because he was way to busy getting his rocks off watching "debbie does someone" on his little six inch screen with his little six inch dick..........

I will throw it out to you guys

Myself made a waver up for stuff just like this with the help of my lawer,But if its a 16 year old with his muffler etc you know what I mean.

That wants me to bypass it I say it can't be done and don't even show him the paper but it has come back to bite me as that I did it for someone that is a little older. Well the 16 kid says to me why did you help him and not me since I know he didn't kind of have a clue I just said he had a different screen.

But I was thinking of getting a sign saying if your under 18 I can't do it but if your over 18 its your responsibly when you sign that waver. If you cause a Death-crash etc and see its the screen in the car that could of caused it.

Not responsible

But for the most part I don't have people having $900 wanting a screen but still have the legal papers if they do.

Not sure what the law is, but i am guessing it is against the law to have a "video" playing while operating a motor vehicle, with the exception of GPS.

You cannot create a waiver to free you of legal obligation for helping someone break the law.

And a waiver doesn't mean you can't be sued.

Take cash, no paper trail and when they try to sue you, say you never did the work and you've never seen them before.

Being that we are a VERY big company........Trust me when I say this,

THERE IS NO SUCH WAIVER THAT WILL STAND UP IN COURT FOR BYPASSING INDASH VIDEO.!!!!!

You see, the manufacter of said video states in the owner/install manual that you need to hook it up to the park brake. If you bypass the video, get the customer to sign a waiver, customer get into a crash killing someone, YOU (if you installed it) can be held 100% liable for damages. The customer is legally impaired and therefore his insurance will not cover for damages. Who do you think the injured parties will sue??? Some 16 yr kid or the Stereo shop who knowing install a product in an unsafe manner?
