Deadener - applied at what temp?

Is there a temperature it should be above in order to properly install deadener?

I'm just wondering if I can put some b-quiet ultimate on this week, but wondering if the adhesive will work to it's full potential being that the temp is likely going to be under 10 degrees.

Thanks for the input.

I don't know about others but I wouldn't.

I waited to do mine till it was over 20.

Just like sticking tape in the cold, It doesn't like to hold for long if at all.

Use a heat gun to heat the panels. Careful not to melt any nearby plastic though.

The warmer it is the easyer it is to work with!

I usually make sure there is frost on the metal before I apply it, works really good

That's what I was thinking...maybe even put a light layer of snow underneath:smilie_da

I used to put the deadener using my moms hair dryer to warm it up two years ago in the garage with low temps, like 10c or something. needless to say the dryer died shortly after lol.

...

just get a small space heater and put it in your car to warm the car up for like an hour and then put it in. The warmer the glue the tackier it will be and the better it will hold.
