which deck?

i want to get a cheap deck that i can run my ipod off of. i have been looking at the panasonic cq-c1333u and also the sony cdx-gt200 which both have aux-inputs. are they basically the same deck with a different looking face or is one brand substantially better than the other? i'm also open to other suggestions that fall into the same price category. Also, how does the SQ of an aux-input jack compare to the alpine ipod unit (KC-420i) or something else similar? thanks.

I would go for the panasonic, the controls are well placed and it comes with an optional remote.Im not quite sure about the sony, lot of ppl told me about distortion at higher volumes.

Sorry, but I would not recommend either Sony or Panasonic decks IMO
