Deck Problem??

I've had my setup unchanged for about a year now, never had a problem until...

Recently my aux in died on the left, so I only got the right signal. My first thought was that the RCA's had come undone at the deck. So I pulled the deck and found that wasn't the problem. I then figured it had to be the wire (2 years old through the glovebox I thought maybe it had worn down). So I replaced the aux in wire and it fixed it and everything was peachy.

Now the first problem was in between these two things, after checking the wires and seeing they were done up correctly I left the deck half out as I planned on getting the new wire that night and didn't wanna pull it again. While it was half out, it would ocasionally make a weird feedback noise (not the kind that results from power wire being too close to source wires, I already have that one :D). I had never heard this feedback before, it's more of a static-clicking feedback, and didn't really seem to go with the engine. Although I think it did get worse the louder the volume, unlike the power/source feedback. The feedback was also on all sources (CD, Radio and AUX).

Strange thing was that by simply moving the deck just a hair in or out, the noise dissapeared. It would come back randomly hours later or wehenver but always went away by simply moving the deck sligtly.

After replacing the aux wire it continued to happen, but not as frequently. Problem is now I can't just move my deck to get rid of it as it is properly seated now. So what the hell is the noise and what do I do about it?

The next problem (possibly related ??) was that after about a week, the aux left input died again. Brand new, decent quality cord.

My best guess now is it's the aux in wires attached to the deck? One of them looks like it has seen better days, but why would it work for a while after replacing the cord? And what's with the feedback?

Final problem (my car sounds like a real winner eh?)... Now my subs are making random noises. It will happen randomly in the middle of a song with the volume up, or with the volume at 0, or when it's on aux and there's no input at all. WTF?

Don't know if it's relevant or not but my car had a pretty bad vibration for about a month (seperated belts in tire) and the passenger floor got soaked once. No leaks anywhere and hasn't seemed to happen since so I don't know what that was about.
