Hi, I'm looking for a new Deck, and I'd appreciate any suggestions. I'd like something around 200.00 and a USB or AUX input would be good too, although not absolutlely nessesary. Other then that, i want something with good SQ(obviously).

You can't go wrong with Eclipse - even their entry level decks. Great SQ without the light shows and bells & whistles.

Well, the Eclipse CD3000 is not quite $200 but I can get you close. It is Aux input ready so you can add it later on when you need it. Get a good cd player first, then bells and whistles later on.

Im all for Alpine. Second for me is Eclipse I like the Idea of MS ESN security for them. very "SMRT"

What do you guys think about JVC? More specifically the KD-G720.

I am sure that JVC is a alright cd player. Put it in a head to head test with the Eclipse for SQ and it will fail miserably by comparison. THe cd player start the entire system, make sure you get a good one.

Ok, so Eclipse or Alpine it is. Another quick question: What are some good online car stereo dealers? I live in Newfoundland, and there's not a lot of options for dealers. There is one local Alpine dealer, though he puts huge markups on everything.

Clarion 255 or 355... the 355 should be under $250 and has a built in hard drive that holds ~80 songs, the 255 is the same deck w/o the hard drive.
