Denonford problems......again.

So the other day I'm driving along not paying attention and I hit some railroad tracks a little too hard and I think it may have mis-aligned the cd transport.....it played fine for a while but then when I went to eject the cd it wouldn't eject it....it would still play it, but wouldn't eject it...then it started to not play it......then finnally it just stopped doing anything....none of the buttons had any effect except the power button.

I pulled it, and tore it apart on my bench, powered it up with my spare battery and when I finnally got the cd out, it had been chewed so badly that it wouldn't play.....now it won't load a cd.....you gotta push it in and then, it still won't play it, and then to get the cd out, you have to manually move the mechanism.

Does this sound the symptoms of a misaligned transport?

Oh and how much is this gonna cost me to fix?

not worth fixing. It'll never be good as new.
Replace.

Pretty hard to say... could be a misaligned transport or could be a lot worse.

My Clarion DRX-9255 did something similar and only cost about 65 bucks to fix.

And the 8250 IS definatly worth fixing.
