Digital designs subwoofer question(s)
Hi everybody. I was thinking of buying a DD 9512 lately. Either that or a 9912.. or a 9915 or so.. but basically a DD sub. I know they are SPL beasts that can handle GOBS of power... but I was wondering how good they sound... as in a SQ environment. I dont know too much about them.. but I was wondering if anybody would have any T/S specs on them. That would really help me out. Any help about power handling at low freq's and all this other stuff would be very greatly appreciated.. Thanks so much in advance..
I sold my Vifa's with my old car.. I really did like them... I really really did. But they are gone now. I can buy more.. but screw it..
I wanna buy a 10" and say: "yeah: I'm stuffing 4,000 watts RMS into it.!!" And just see peoples jaw drop one after the next. LOL... its only $600 a sub too which is great. All I need is one.
how low can they go? do they have a low FS?
There is a retailer here in Calgary that has them. So the 9100's are great? how much can they handle? I want to buy a Visonik 4000D to power it. total cost: $1200. which isn't too much for a 4kw system I figure.
I just want something that sounds wicked.. Either this or a Treo CSX12. I dont know yet.
I hope those 9500 series are good.. or even the 9900's. can an SPL box for them still be moderetly good sounding?
All I really need is the T/S parimeters.. The software will tell me what they can do.
