Anyone have any luck/experience with DLS? I have read some really good reports on DLS and gather the impression that they are comparable with high end FOCAL. Now, I tried to audition and purchase some from the distributor but he said he couldn't. Sent me to CHASE car audio, who couldn't let me hear them. Got alot of run arround for a couple months and wrote DLS, more than once, asking for help and planning on buying another product soon. Never did get a response( very poor customer service) So, has anyone got any ideas or input on this?

I have a pair of DLS componants, they're very clean, crisp, and accurate. I've had dealings with DLS in sweden in the past, and their service is good, but they can be hard to get a hold of. There are people on this board who are involved with DLS Canada, and can help you out a lot.

I am lacking upfront midbass in an intrepid with next to no kickpanel on drivers side so I was looking at the three way systems. I am very interested in the iridium 8.3, the 8's should give me plenty midbass, but I am sure the 6 1/2 would do fine too. I also like the mids being a dome that does not need any airspace since I don't have the kicks and don't want to get into alot of fabricating. I figure the 8 or 6 in the door, and figure out where the mid and tweet sound best somewhere between the dash, sail panel and kicks.

sounds like a good plan, the Iridiums are top of the line speakers. I'm looking at putting them in my next ride. the 8" will give you lots of tight, clean midbass. I'd suggest you PM dawgsbreakfast and ask him how he gets his.

I actually have the 8.2's and they are a great set.... but the 8's were too big for my application... had tremendous output... i would definately say if you were tight in trunk space and you can spear the extra room upfront for the 8.3's you will be ok with just running the set... the midbass is awesome... again its a bit tough to fit 8's properly, but if you do it will have great results....

I also owned the MS6's which are a medium level set... and it was also a nice set... midbass was a bit lacking to some other sets in the same price range... however the tweet did make this set... its a superb tweeter for the cost of the set..... I found that the MS6's have better free air response compared to some of the other drivers ive used in the doors....

Right now i have the UR6's and they are a phenomenal set.... the Iridium 6.2's would have been nice however for moderate listening (which is mainly what i do) they actually perform quite similar (atleast to my ears) but im sure i'll get the urge sooner or later to try em out....

also had the big 5 channel a7... very solid amp only played with it for a few weeks but it was a solid single amp setup and its sexy as well.... i have an a3 that im playing with as well... its a solid amp as well.... very nice control and some good power.....

I have a ur15 and i like it alot... im actually going to be using this sub in my next install along with the UR6's....

good stuff and priced competively against their competitors...
