i got a 4 volt pioneer deck, my amps seem to peak out at just over 2volts of input. i have a rw line driver in there which i never even adjust. do i need that line driver?

Depends on how many amps you have. I would test it with the linedriver and without it to be sure.

Unless the Pioneer outputs have gotten stronger in the last couple of years, my 4v outputs are quite weak. I am looking for a second line driver to put in my system....

i would test with and without to make sure before you buy

Hardwrkr - I realy don't understand why you would need another line driver. The P1 on its own should be sufficient with your setup. With the addition of the PLD-1, that should more than enough. |
I have my line driver on my Memphis.
I also want one for my Kenwood. |
do u really need a line driver for ANY kenwood amp?

It's actually giving some pretty good power but it will take a 5v in and the gain is rather high at the moment (and it's properly set).
Maybe I will upgrade it to an Earthquake amp. :D |
correct me if im wrong, but doesnt a 4 volt deck in acttuality only put out around 2.8 volts???
