Does anyone own a DD9515? let me know what you think of them
 

Hey guys well thanks to Rob at Forbidden Auto...who is by the way the most honest person i have ever dealt with i mean he really takes the time to help you understand things etc and gives you options which ultimately leaves you to choose what you want...we have finally decided on what new system setup i will do in my 01 jetta. As Rob knows as i told him i Crave bass and we finally decided that it would be wise to spend some cash on Digital Desings 9515 sub. I wanted to know if anyone hear owns one and what they think of it. I saw vids on youtube and holy crap do they look like they pound. I just posted this for fun just to hear what people who own them think of them. Other than that i cant wait until i get the cash to buy the system. Thanks Rob!!!

You will experience some hard hitting bass. They have great output. What are you going to power it with?

The loudest vehicle in Canada is using one DD Z15.

One of my employee's was putting about 3500 watts to a 9515 and was hitting 148 in a Street B setup.

If you want people to know when you're coming, this will do it for you, guaranteed!

yea me and rob were talking about that however i dont want to spend extra cash for a performance alternator know what i mean i dont want the amp to suck up all the juice and then god knows whats next

As for the alternator, you'll be fine. Steve was using his stock alternator, stock battery with a "big 3" upgrade with his and he was fine.

man im driving an 01 jetta...i dont know if it can handle anything bigger...however that macrom should make that thing pound

I run a 9515 in my neon, with stock alt, the big 3 and a 3200rms amp... you'll be fine. I am also currently about 148db St B set up. It hammers hard, demo's r fun, and u will love it. Its a beast you wont be disappointed!

yea I heard about that never knew it was like that at all..im actually going to go with Foorbidden Audios custom made box...im relying on forbidden audio fully for everything...

just turn the heads i dont really know of any competitions down here...my car is already a head turner not many jettas down here with my colour and rims etc. my sound system already turns heads i got a morel speaker setup and a kicker L7 10" solobaric which i used to think hits crazy hard however now bored of it. Well theres this one duchebag in my area with a gmc sierra he has 1 12w6 and he thinks he has the best system so im waiting to get mine and boy will i be driving around his house...yea so no competitions i jusst want it for myself and as a headturner i hope i will be satisfied

believe it or not i was going to buy a Jl 10w7 then literally accidentally i found this forum and Rob was my god send man... everyone seems to be hyping up these Digital design subs...fuk the people wanted 1099 just for sub and box for the JL

These guys at the dealer were like the JL is the best sub ever created man were they hypin em up and me being the ignorant guy i was like sure y not lets go ahead wit it...luckily didnt have all the money aanyways so i did some research and luckily i ran into this site
