Doin a Blow through!!

So i have decided that im going to do a blow through in my 1980 gmc. But im still deciding on a nice 10" sub. I think im either gonna go with a RE MT or a DD35. I have 1500rms for power.Wat do u guys think?

Oh and i guess i still need a tonneau cover.Anybody know how much those cost.I have a buddy who paid $3000 for a top of the line gaylord. but theres gotta be cheaper.

As for the cover they range in price from about $300-2500 or so depending on what type.

k thats a bit better. im only looking to spend about 1200 on the cover.

With low power you'd probably be better suited with the 3500, it'd be a better daily sub too... but you're doing a blowthrough for a single 10"? Seems like a lot of work for a little sub - I'd say you may as well go big if you're going to the trouble of a blowthrough

thats exactly what i thought cuz i was gonna go with 2 mt 12's but the guy who is doing the install said i should only go as big as a 10. Says he doesnt want to cut too high into the cab. I dunno.

Well if height's the issue, do four 10's or something, that'd be cool. Gotta do at LEAST a pair of 10's to justify a blowthrough.

A blowthrough for a 10 is pointless, so what if its some beefy 10, its still a 10 and you don't need that much room for it.
