dvc and svc?

Ones got dual voice coils other single? wtf does this mean. so would the svc in certain subs sound better?
like type rs in dvc sound better then the svc?

generally, an SVC is more efficient, because the magnetic field generated by the current has no gaps, and can take full advantage of the coil/magnet structure, a DVC has a small gap which reduces it's efficiency
