From extensive testing of other brands on the market I found this one to be one of the crappier ones. After about 6 months to a year it drys to the point that it starts to flake off. You are better off to use that tar like undercoat or another product.

Instead of wasting the money on peel and seal, why not save up to get good sound deadening? do things right the first time.. you'll enjoy it so much more ;)

its the same stuff just cheaper cash

Peel and seal is not the same stuff as most audio based damping materials.

I totally agree with Dereck on this one.. usually in life you get what you pay for.. and to save a few bucks by using a product which is designed for something else is usually not the best bet.. spend the extra money and buy a good sound deadening.. it'll be worth it in the long run..
