Earthquake has a bad rep with a lot of competitors, but I think that mostly comes from people running amps at a much lower impedence than recommended then wondering why they blew. I have owned a lot of D2's and D3's and the only one I had blow was a fully modded D2 that I was running at 0.35 ohms. I found the sound to be quite good out of both amps, contrary to what many people say about EQ amps having very high distortion. I would buy it if you are getting it at a good price, but there are many people who would say the opposite.
