Eclipse 12" SW8200 vs. 12W6v2- repeat

I am new here but I have to say that I suggest powering it with the proper amp. I had a 500w sub (I don't want to admit that it was a kenwood, but I guess I just did), and it wasn't nearly as effective as my 300w pioneer sub powered by the same amp. Possibly Pioneer just makes better subs, but I would suggest getting the proper amp/sub mixture.

Point them away from you for less cone noise. These subs have more rattle-bass than sound-bass, youll know what I mean. LMS is nice but I think it makes them less punchy on long basslines, and they're constantly hovering around 35mm excursion.

600W @ 1ohm, 2ohm, 4ohm? Those woofers are single 4 ohm ONLY. You're wasting your time if you bought two, (they'll see a 2 ohm load), with an amp that does 600W @ 1ohm, you'll be getting 300W, between two subs. You want more than 150W per sub. Even if it's 600W @ two ohm, 300W per sub isn't enough. Not a good match.

ps: I assume you meant to write- 450W or more cuz if its 150W or more - your post doesn't even make sense....
