You are comparing apples to oranges my friend. You cannot compare a Panasonic to Eclipse.

but im talkin about money wise... for that much u could of got the new panasonics they have 5Volt preout and has sweet looks

I regularily do that very test here in the shop. Matter of fact my next guinea pig for this test is either a Kenwood or Panasonic cd player so that the customer can actually hear themselves the difference themselves.

You can also drive a Yugo or a Cadillac, my guess is that you like the Yugo.

i think a better comparison would be between a Zil russian limo and a lincoln/caddy.

they may look similar, but one is good, one isnt.

thats a real nice deck youve got there, i had considered eclipse, but most of their stuff has the fixed/non removable face, and thats not an option in my area.

I think the marketing / cosmeic deptment from all the brands just sat up in bed...

buying equipment based on cosmetics will generally get you into trouble if you have any real requirments for the unit... I think cosmeics can play a part of the descision, but in the end, they are one of the last things I consider...

forgot to ask, did the remote come with the head unit? Cuz i always thought those were bought seperatly.

yeah it comes with a remote...

does anybody search? i says right on the Eclipse website, that the CD3000,2000,1000 remotes are opional... and they come with the CD4000,5000 and 7000 units..
