So how many of you are aware that there used to be a tax on electronics in the first place that was built into the dealer cost? This was removed when the good ol' GST came into effect. Will a new tax happen, my bet is yup, it sure will. It is a profit generator for the government, much like a bottle deposit fee that has been around for who knows how long.

True but it is far from the $20-40 /Gig that was initially proposed is it not?

They like to scare us wih a large number to look good by scaling it back [img]tongue.gif[/img]
