Hi, I'm new to the forums, well i was on here about 7 or 8 years ago when i investigated my system before. I ended up getting 2 13kv2's from elemental designs from their second batch (silver plastic cone) they've lasted me well. I'm now looking to upgrade to 1 more powerful sub to save on some trunk space.

Does anyone have a suggestion on a sub to run on my nine 1?
Are elemental designs subs any good now? 13av2? or e512

their stuff was still good as of about two years ago, i purchased 4 of their 13kvs and they worked great, i find they have pretty good prices as well compared to a lot of major brands. My brother had a 16ov and it was loud and sounded amazing even after he blew it up! so you should be good going with them again, of course there are tons of other options

 

ED has had some serious quality control problems over the years.. I probably wouldn't touch them...

 

Yea a buddy of mine bought 2 11 ov2's and they both blew pretty easily, i'll probly go elsewhere any good recommendations? I wanna get a 2012 ford focus, and im curious how ill hook stuff up cause there's no trim kits n stuff for them yet.. at least that i can find. I was thinking maybe if i got the upgraded 10 speaker sound system but i dont want their my ford touch stuff and sync, i dont think i need it or want to have to deal with a touch screen while driving
