We just did a system in a Prelude with two of the 10" versions of that sub. We did a fiberglass box, I think it gave each sub about .75 cubes sealed, maybe a bit more, but it sounded fairly accurate and had decent output. I ran the numbers through Bassbox, it recommends around 1 cube sealed for a flat Qtc, and around 1.7 cubes vented. Not sure if these numbers match up with what Quart recommends though.....

Ahaaa, I use the 10" version of this sub in a 1.25 cu.ft. ported enclosure. A slot port of 6"x1"x6" makes this sub perform extremely well. Great sound quality and bottom end extension.

Waits for Dukk to say, Rob is recommending a ported box

My guess is that the 12's will also perform quite well in a ported box, be it slighly larger in volume.

LOL...that is what I told him yesterday. BUT...he can't afford anything new right now so I built him a box today that is 1 cubic foot per sub sealed after displacement. Sounds WAY better than before....but not good enough for what they are sold for.
