who's do you use ?

what is a better unit
Phoenix Gold DEQ COMP EQ ,AUDIOCONTROL DQS CAR AUDIO 6 CH EQ EQUALIZER ,PPI PRECISION POWER DEQ-230,?

they are all good eq's, but the dqs is quite different in how it works compared to the othe 2. the pg eq, uses its own a/d d/a converter and does all the processing in "digital" and the other 2 are analog. i have used the ppi and the ac before will good success but have never used the pg

Only real problem with the PG DEQ (Other then its size) is you need to have a computer hooked up to it to make any changes. The AC/PPI you can do from its display. To bad PG didn't release there DEQ-X..

Maybe the AC DQS is different then my AC DQX, but the DQX does all the processing digitally..

I use an Alpine PXA-H700.

I have not played with any of the others. If I was going for an analogue EQ though the PPI DEQ-230 would be one of my first choices.

PPI DEQ 230........ The audio control piece is cool too.
