Exclamation Event Listing.

Here's an arrangement that should meet some peoples needs. Due to our policy on commercial advertising; i have one compromise.

I will sticky post your event, even is you’re charging money... stickied in the event section. You must still comply too all other rules. No posting subs for sale, discount on hardware, this is for events only!.

In return you bring to me 100 high res images from the event. They must be watermark free as they will become the property of Canadian Car Audio.
I will create an image gallery with the pics, and give credit to the shop who held the event.

To those interested, contact me. To those not interested you will be governed by the same rules as everyone else.

All event posts are subject to approval or deletion at my discretion.

Some events have about 15 cars come, would you like different angles of every car ?

It's a fair deal for the people putting on shows. I mean it gets exposure for future shows as well.

This looks like an excellent tradeoff. As evidenced by the reaction to the pics at the top of the main page - the general population really likes to have a whack of pictures to look at. I think we forget sometimes that a lot of these guys may have never seen, or at least very rarely get to see, a decent custom build.

can we get you a link to a site with all the pics. Megahz(my right hand man when it comes to pics) hosts all the pics for shows on his website. i rarely have pics on my comp.nor so i get to control them. megahz just goes out and takes pics and each and every member of wces will send thier pics to mega to be posted on his site.

all in all. can we pn you a link to hte site and would this be the same. cause mega does about 100 shots at each show.

Hey, first off i was checking out your newsletter, that is an amazing idea, love it. Aside from the vendor area on the newsletter, i would have no problem pushing that newletter on the new updated front end of the site that we'll be putting up... when i stop being busy..

As for event promotion, i would need to have original images unwatermarked sent to me. Like the other shops who offered to host them, i see no point for CanadianCarAudio to do it that way. So yea, i would need the images, they would be hosted here and of course the provider would get recognition as well as the show organizer but the images would then belong to CCA.
This is basically the way the compromise has to be for the time being, i expect it to run through the 2006 season. At which time this option may or may not be availabe later, again, we will see how it goes.

ty, i will get megahz on this as shows happen for this year. first stop geroges show in kamloops.

regarding the newsletter. ty. we always included a tip of the month, competitor of the month. a dealer of the month and a product of the month. we always focused on competitors/dealers/products that were show specific. we werent sponsored nor did we ask for monies. we merely wanted to offer info to competitors where they can get a second opinion. information was the real reson for incuding what we did. we also did this unbiased and with consent. in the future our newsletter will be less vendor focused but we will include show results as an added bonus. this will only happen if sanction promoters get me scores and placings.(last year i had to circumnavigate about 5 forums to get info and repeatedly ask for show info from other sanction heads) . the newest newsletter will come out first week in april and come out monthly during the compeition season.

our goal at West Coast Extreme SPL is to help everyone with competing (SPL or SQ) and to offer as much show info so as to make sure that the competition scene grows in Western Canada. West Coast Extreme SPL is 38 member and growing but our newsletter gets emailed to approximately 250 persons and is posted in about 5 forums all in the name of expanding and informing competitiors.

I am glad to see you can help us in helping the 12 Volt Industry. Much appreciated.

Patrick

How would you want he pics. We will have a large showing at Sport Compact Nights in Calgary this year. Not our show, not our money, but a pretty big deal for our shop. We generally choose to take high res pics when we do our Overhaulin' builds would that be OK? I would have no prob's taking a ton of pics for you. You can have them but they will be the same ones I have on our website.
