if you think the wire makes a difference over spring loaded termials you should look into having the voice coil leads welded directly to the wire... cause aluminum tinsel leads along with tin solder is the weakest link in the voice coil to amplifier chain....

I'm not saying terminals don't work well; in most cases they work great and present no problems. We were looking for ways to eliminate some of the problems associated with high power applications and enduser abuse to increase the reliability and durability of our products.
