I've been having a problem lately with the bass in my subs fading in and out. Basically, the subs will hit really hard for a few minutes then the bass gets quieter. Then the bass will hit really hard again and then get quieter. Anyone have this happen to them before or have any ideas as to why its happening? thanks

the grounds are good, i checked those. i do have a cap but my battery is old so maybe i'll change it and see if that fixes it. Also, the cap is one i got from a friend and it sat in my closet all winter so that might have something to do with it.
