Is this a fair price for an amp?

Hi, I just bought a ppi pc4100 amplifer for 425 dollars Canadian. I am having trouble finding a review on this amp. It is a 1999 model with 4 channels. Was this a fair price to pay for this amplifer?

Summary:
I have to admit I haven't pushed it very hard. I've run no more than 1 10" ppi pro power sub with the rear channels and my front stage with the front channels. I've blown one 10" that had to be replaced which is bit of a feat, but not for this amp. I'm pretty sure, that if I had to do it over, I'd have purchased something else. It's great, but I there are amps nearly as good at a fraction of the cost. If you can get one for near $500, then go for it, otherwise, shop elsewhere, unless you're dead set on getting the best.

I LOVE THE Q BASS PLUSS ALLOWING ME TO ADJUST THE BOOST, FREQUENCY, AND Q OF THE THE BASS. JUST NOT VERY FLEXIBLE. ONLY SOLD TO GO TO A 6 CHANNEL AMP SO I HAVE A SEPARATE CHANNEL FOR MIDBASS UP FRONT.
