I typically see them on Ebay for around 100 US for 10"s....

obviously, ebay is generally not a good measuring stick, but I want a ballpark figure before I go schlepping around town looking for them.

Anybody got any input?
Team shadow, looking at you here....

I am looking for 10"s, most likely

chances are with the new product coming out at the end of this month, i'm sure that you will see more and more stores lower their prices on old stock to make room for new stock. I'm not really familiar with what is a good place to get a deal at in eastern canada. I know the name of store that carry pg but i'm not familiar with the geography to be able to tell you who is closer to you. as far as price range. once again, it depends on the dealer and how much extended warranty they include.

Also, I beleive there are "issues" with them. That probably is one of the reasons why you can get them dirt cheep on ebay.

"Issues?" Hell no! My two Ti12Ds are still running strong and they have been bagged like nothing else. They are great subs - no doubt about it.
I paid $244/ea for mine, which I believe is below cost. With the Xenon stuff coming out soon, you will see a lot more prices in that range and eventually I'd bet the subs would fall to around $175/ea for a 12 incher.

109.99 US @ sounddomain.com... but you'd have to get them shipped to a PO box in the US. I'm thinking of doing this, just cause it's such a killer deal, but at acaraudio.com they're 119.99 each US, and it's about 15 US for shipping for the pair to southern ontario.

I would recommend you wait for the better deal at the local shop though. If the subs ever do blow, you don't want to mess around with a gigantic corporation (such as Sounddomain) trying to get warranty coverage. I don't think there is duties on PG products because they are made in the US.
I'd say hold out for the local guys, or even just see if you can get them in the sub-$300 range right now.

I much prefer talking to a person, rather than a CSR on the email or phone...

I always try to support local
I was trying to simply FIND some, local, lol....

Anyhow, thanks for the help, folks....I think I may have made my decision

Well since YOUR 2 have had no issues, I should disregard the issues I have read about numerous times and that PG had confirmed. I guess your experience is the only TRUE one I should beleive. And since yours didnt stop working that must logically mean that everyone elses must also work perfectly and as such, I must be crazy.

Nice post btw.

PS:They where dirt cheep even before anyword on the xenon line was out.

Way to be ignorant. They are the best deal going in the subwoofer business, at the moment, probably even better then Resonant or eD, seeing as how one of my Titaniums was less money then my buddy's Ks and it still goes quite a bit louder with equal sound quality. The issues are generally with the 15" versions and apparently they have been straightened out. My 12 inchers are very reliable. Some guy in town running a Tantrum 1200.1 to two Ti12s didn't even blow his subs when one fell out of the box (how that happened who knows) after even 10 minutes of play time... both subs (the one that fell out and the one left in the single-chamber box) were totally fine.

Aside from that, I think I am going with a TREO of ideas, anyway
