for getting the outputs fixed on my deck. I was charged $102 to do it. The shop replaced the intergrated circuits. I'm just wondering if this is the normal repair price.

The deck is an alpine 7826P. My friend told me it shouldn't cost more than $40..

No doubt, The repair bill is totally inline. Maybe your friend should open a shop and do repairs with warranty this cheap for everyone, he'd do killer business.

A friend of mine had the sub pre-out screwed up on his deck. To fix it, cost $120. So I would say that is about right.

It cost me $40 cash to get the power terminal on my Xtant resoldered.

Now let's see; $.07 worth of solder and maybe 15 or 20 minutes worth of work.

I'll tell you what though, I was a happy camper when I got my amp back and it worked flawlessly.

I have a question for everyone that wants a deal on something.. how would you feel if your employer told you that they would pay you a certain rate to work (we'll call that the price tag.), then you started to work for them, and come payday they tried to haggle and bargin down with you.. how many people would like that or think thats fair?

That is why you negotiate before hand. When you assume you make an *** out of you and me.

Seems he assumed his buddy would give him a deal. His buddy didn't say $50.
