Well the thing was my buddy's dad owns the stereo shop and said it shoudln't cost very much...that's why i believed him. Guess I won't deal again with Kawartha tv and sound..

Yeah. Live and learn I guess. Oh well. I got a deck that works like new, maybe paid a little much to get it fixed, but hey its a learning experience.

zach the dealer price for most output ic's are close to $40 if not more and thats without shipping
i would say you got a fair price on the repair

something like that i would charge that much if not more

sure you buddy says you should get it fo $40
where did he come up with this price
does he run a business or just guess what it worth if everybody works for free
