FatMat?
 

I recently purchased 50sq feet from ebay, the seller was local, i believe their in Oakville just off Dorval. I was wondering what you guys would suggest for layers? I have the FatMat extreme, and wanted to do from my rear seats and back. all the trim is already out of the car. Anyone have any tips or advice to installing this? I have an 07 tiburon if that helps, so its a hatch style car. And last question, will this stuff stick to fiberglass? i have a custom CF Hatch and was wondering is this stuff wud stick to it?

the area you are applying make sure it's clean and dry(This is very important). I used heat with Dynamat and I've also used FATMAT they both work equally well.

Vacuum and thoroughly clean the area.

I used this and heated it for 15minutes or worst case put the pieces in the oven for 10 at 150.

Fiberglass is will stckl you will have to make sure it's completely dry and acetone will also help.

Go to home Deopt and buy a wall paper roller.

i have a heat gun and a roller already, is there some sort of spray i can buy to make it stick well? kinda sucks doing this now since weather in toronto is pretty bitter as of late lol

Heat Gun I find is too hot. If you start now and use a electric heat to warm up the area. you'll be fine. Try the oven method worked the best.

It's supposed to hit 12 on Saturday and 14 on Sunday.....it better, I have stuff to do in my driveway too......:D

I did my kick in -10 degrees and clear day in January they came off no prob. My current sound dampening job would need an month to remove.

what about a blow dryer? is that fine? and what about the spray? i heard theres a spray that makes it grab better, cant recall it tho

spray? the fat mat has a adhesive back....just follow the simple insructions and it will stick. heat is the key in colder weather.
Hair dryer's are the same as a heat gun work a single area.

Drape the sheet of fatmat over the heater and let it just hot to the touch. flip it around to do the other end until it's more ply able until equally warm then apply it. In the winter I use the oven method.

Don't rush this - it's simple to do but take your time.

well aware of taking my time, ill have about 5 hours to do this saturday, or i can start tomorrow and kinda take it slowly

also i know its off topic, im looking to upgrade my speakers, i have 6 1/2 fronts and 6x9 rears. Are there any decent ones for sale? i want crisp clean sound

i did mine in cooler weather in the spring in my garage with a heat gun and its peeling in certain spots but does work ok
