Fi Car Audio?

yah yo golf alt can handle that amp, just dont do the ghetto 4 gauge wiring job.
no, the quality is not poor. nontheless get a recone kit.
someone said that if it blows u dont have to send it to the states if you have a kit, yah it is true, but my reason is different.
a year or two down the line when the hype dies down and business slows down for this company (just like it does for 99.8% of all these "next big thing" car audio companies) any spare part for your sub will be a pain in the azz to get. I have gone thru this many times with many sub companies including RE, Shocker, Beyond Audio, etc. Get one now, save yourself alot of trouble down the line.

Don't worry about some ghetto 4 guage wire job, I got 20 feet of stinger 0 guage and about 40 feet of 0 guage from princess auto, and used it in my last install. What you said about the recone kit makes me a little more secure in my choice to go with fi. I am not really too worried about a year to two down the road, I usually switch subs within a year anyways (A new sub would make it my 6 setup in less than 4 years). Now I just gotta wait for that new line to come out to see if it will be that or the q still. Anyone think that my suspension could take an 18" in a 8-10 foot ported box??

Scott at Fi is a great guy to deal with although when it comes to answering emails hes a little inconsistent. Some days he gets back to you within hours and some days it takes a couple weeks or not at all. Best bet is just to call them up.
Yuli's advice makes lots of sense. Plus the recones are very affordable to begin with so you might aswell play it safe.

Dont get me wrong its damn loud but I think there are more impressive setups out there considering the gear used
