i doubt that it has anything to do with the transistors itself. Often it's a bad capacitor that's shorten out. Sometime they are easy to spot when they leak <----link. Could be a lot things but since the made in china era half of the time when there's prob it's a bad cap.

First, have you check the RE of your subs? The ground's good?

Also, those amps are expose to a lot of vibration that could break cold-solder joints and give you all kinds of problems. Look also for burnt parts (remove the retention clip on the FET to see them) or burn mark on the PCB, this will give a good indication where the prob is.

allright thanks ill get back at ya.

Re was for (Re)sistance

Your subs are going, are they? have you check them with a DMM, another amp?

If they are going they could also be the source of your overheating amp...

ill check all that tonight at work. ill keep you posted.

ill try runnin one of the good subs to see how it goes while going to work.

danyman 12-21-2008 12:46 PM

ohh and cant use another amp since i dont have another one. and i dont know anyone around here that has one hahahha

danyman 12-21-2008 07:24 PM

wasted 65$ for nothing. fixed the amp.everything else in the amp turns out great and all the values are the correct ones ( as of the chart that DD gave me ) AND its a lost cause. the amp blew fuses and blows the mosfets again. put 3 others that were still good and checked the whole amp again and boom goes the fuses and mosfets gone again.

im tired of this lmao. i need a new amp and hopefully soon thanks S&S for the parts and thanks guys for the help
