Focal speakers for electronic music?
Doing some research right now trying to determine the best route to go with upgrading the stock stereo in my Mazda 3 Sport.
I'm in Vancouver, BC and the shops (and selection) here are limited.
Hertz & Focal seem to be some of the top choices here other than the standard players from JL, Alpine, Kenwood, etc...
Have settled for the most part on going with an Audison BitOne processor and going with a 6.5" 2 or 3 way component set in the front and likely a 10" sub. As the title says, I listen to electronic music - and I've heard the Focals can be very bright and may end up being fatiguing when playing electronic music.
Wondering if anyone here with experience listening to Focal or Hertz can comment? The general consensus seems to be that Focal makes an all round better speaker, however I am going to be looking for speakers that provide a nice and detailed mid-range and highs without being too sharp and analytical.
I've been recommended to consider either of these instead:
Rainbow Audio USA
Rainbow Audio USA
or the Vanadium line (titanium tweeter - but I like the idea of a softer tweeter). Someone else recommended to look around locally for Alpine Type X Pro components as well. I am looking for recommendations, obviously if I buy anything online it's going to be a considerable pain in the neck to get a shop to install it, not to mention the complete hands off coverage I'll get.

I'd add the Audison Voce AV K6 component set to your list if your looking for excellent detailed midrange and upper end without the Focal trademark brightness or fatigue.
They also provide stout midbass with 100+ going to them
highly recommend them!

Really leaning towards Audison stuff for the whole install...
Have an appointment to head into the dealer tomorrow and take a look at my vehicle, talk options, and hopefully pick out and settle on a price for a whole system.
Will post what comes of it, and of course pics at the end
