Fosgate Users!

I bought two 10" p2's today and I was wondering about what the best way would be to go about enclosing them. Should I get a dual box, or 2 sepeate 10" enclosures and put them next to each other? Sealed or ported?
I need help, please.
Also, what would the best amp be to power these?

i have 2 12 inch p2s and i tried both ported and sealed but sealed was 30% louder @ 325watts

what wattage is yours?

I owned p2's. They were 12's. I had them side by side but closed off form eachother, in a side ported box. I believe they were 325 watt or something.

I stuffed a towel once in there but found they had more of a loudness without them being sealed. They seemed to have more of a punch though when they were sealed.

I would suggest looking at the 325.1 rf amp. Best Buy or Future Shop should have them super cheap on boxing day. Ported vs Sealed... sealed gives a tight bass sound. It sounds louder, your friends and neighbours will hear you coming. Sealed is not good for competition though. The other downfall to sealed is the frequency range. I listened to lil jon in both ported and sealed and the sealed box missed a few notes.

The owners manual that came with your subwoofers has a lot of information regarding box sizes and suggestions. If you no longer have it, you can get another copy at www.rockfordfosgate.com . There is also general car audio knowledge to be had at the Rockford site.

I don't listen to much rap though dude, so thats not a problem.
I hear sealed is best for these subs and I listen to trance and metal so.
I think sealed would be the way to go.
Im just thinking should I go with 2 separate 10" sealed enclosures, or a dual one?
