Four subs in common chamber ?
#1
is it advisable to put my four Tsw1000c pioneer subs into a 3.5 cubit ported box all in a common chamber ? this is the reccomendation i got but im not all to sure about the common chamber thing. the sheet says a good ported box for these things is something like .6 cubic feet.

Providing the box / port is tuned properly you should have no problem.. My 2 JL's are in a 5.12 Cubic box single common chamber tuned to roughly 35hz.. they call for a 1.75-2.25 box per sub.
But im not the expert, lets hear what other have to say..

In the "Outlaw SPL" competition last Sunday, where they stick the mike right in the port or in front of your sub box, my single sub (in a sealed 1 cu. ft. box) hit 152.7db, beating Vision's own and Autotemp's own entries, that had 4 subs in common chamber boxes.
Cool eh?

I have a problem. I sort of am indecisive about using three or four subs for space sake. I cannot find a program that will have my subs specs on its database. they are pioneer tsw1000c nickel plate subs. Just wondering what program would have it ? i tried winisd but i think they are to old for it.. at least there is nothing in the pioneer section . someone gave me specs for a box using a program called bass box i belive. i cant find that program. anyone got a link to it ?
