funny thing out of RF amp manual...
Engine Compartment Mounting
Rockford Fosgate amplifiers should never be mounted in the engine compartment. Not only will this void your warranty but could create an embarrassing situation caused by the ridicule from your friends. :) |
That is actually in the manual?????
Edit:  |

I was at a shop one day when a customer yelled at the saleman for the price of intall on a remote starter. After installing it himself he was in the next week when it wouldnt work. The installer opened the hood and saw water dripping out of the brain mounted on the bottom of the firewall.

Apparently some of you guys have never read any of the Audio Control manuals. Those guys have a decent sense of humour.
And, sadly, I have seen an amp mounted under the hood :retard: :sly: |

If you have to read a manual to install an amp, then mayb its for the best that its been written in there:thumbsup: bahahah

Actuially the best place to mount your amp is under the car, bolted up through the floorboards :smilie_da That way you can crank the gain and bass boost and run them less ohms than rated, because when all that air is blowing over them they wont overheat:stroke:
