Here is the Stinger one (I own two of these, they're nice): Stinger Dual ANL

I'm just curious, only only going to be using 1 amp with 1 0g. input.. how would i run that sort of fuse holder? I have 1 0g. running through the car already into the trunk

well that's where your problem is. you want to carry 400-500 amps of current through 1 run of wire?

I'm going to run probably 2 runs of 0 gauge from front to back, but the amp only takes 1 0g. power/ground. Which is why I was asking about bus bars in your build thread :P

So what would be the best way to wire the car for this amp? Like I said, its got 1 0g. input

Suggestions?

But you said earlier...

The other fuse I'm questioning is the fuse from the batteries in the trunk to my amp.
This is the one I have been discussing..

lol sorry if its confusing.. i'll clarify.

Right now I have 1 0g. power wire running from my front battery to the trunk. I will probably be adding 1 more.

In the trunk I have 2 Kinetik HC2400's. From these batteries, I'd like to connect 1 amp. the amp only has 1 0g. input rated @ ~4,000wrms @ 0.5 ohms.

I'd like to run a fuse to the amp from one of the Kinetik HC2400's. However, I was having trouble finding a fuse to use thats capable of 400amps. Most say max 300a.

So right now:

Battery (under hood) --> Kinetik HC2400 (trunk battery 1) --> Kinetik HC2400 (trunk battery 2)

What would be the best way to hook all of this up to run 1 amp (with 1 0g. input)

Cleared up? :P

So I don't see the problem with running two 4ga from the Kinetiks to the Stinger block I posted and then a zero from there to the amp.

Or just go buy any ANL holder and try to find a 500amp fuse. The fuse will be the tough part as they are not very common.

Reality is that you likely won't snap a 300amp fuse anyway so start there.

I found a few places that carry a 400 + amp fuses. But all fuse holders I found say max 300 amps.

Which way do you think would be the best way to go?

Or the other fuse holder I found was the fuse holder from Knu with 3 mini-anl fuses that holds up to 450 amps.

you dont have to worry about 500 amps to the amp. no amp with a single 0 gauge input will realistically draw 500 amps unless you use it in a VERY wrong way.

just run a single 0 gauge from battery to amp and put a single biggest size of ANL fuse you can find between the battery and the amp.
