Since i'm doing the big 3 with 4 gauge cable, for now anyways, what size fuse will i need for the pos. terminal to alt. upgrade? My alt. is 105 amps and currently uses a 8 guage wire... eeeks!

I wouldn't worry about a fuse between the alternator and battery. Just make sure you have a fuse between the battery and your amp(s) as close to the battery as possible.

There currently is no fuse between the amp and battery. I have a 150 amp fuse on order though. AQ staff said a inline fuse isn't required, but based off what I have been reading here the past month or so I know it's still a good idea... and again it's on order... should be here any day.

As for the alt fuse ... i noticed some people use them, others don't. I figured I'd install one just to be overly cautious.

 

with your stock alt, i dont see the need to fuse the + alt to + battery but its your choice. In that case, a 125A or even 150A sounds good.
