GF system

so my GF who owns a 97 del sol wants a nice sound system and so she asked me cause i know more than a basic kid about car audio
shes using focal components in the front and unkown in the rear... ill be taking that off to make sure they are something good, so speakers should be covered
the car has not been dynomatted, so i figure that would be one step to take. I got that bulk pack of dyna matt 36' squared... should cover a car that small right?
then for sub and amp combo i will order the orion H2.2 12 inch powered by the HCCA D2400 wired to 1 ohm
the car has the stock battery so to save some power there is a soundstream 3 farad cap
headunit we will order is Clarion DXZ765MP
all of this comes out to $934.95
i just want to make sure that this set up would be a good one for her car... i would like to keep just one sub instead of 2... just to save some room, so there is enough room to build a good box for the H2

what she wants
a sub that'll pound better than what you can get at future shop
and something that will sound nice and clean and tight

ne ones input... good system? should i go ahead and order or should i change one thing or everything?
thanks
