Hey guys,

I am thinking of getting an amp with the following specs:

Output Power @4 Ohm = 2 x 100W
RMS Power @ 4 Ohm = 2 x 50W
RMS Power @ 2 Ohm = 2 x 75W
Bridged RMS @ 4 Ohm = 1 x 150W

Now, it is a 2-channel amp, and I am hooking it up to one Single Voice Coil sub. As far as I know, I can't bring one sub down to 2 ohms bridged, right? I'd have to have two subs bridged, right?

It is an RF Punch XLC, so I assume it's a 4ohm coil.

If it is 4ohm then your amp will be bridged to 1ch and therefore 150Wrms.
