Good 1 ohm amp?

Can anyone tell me what a reliable 1 ohm stable monoblock is in the 1000 to 1500 watt range? Will be running a sundown audio sa 15 dual 2 ohm. Don't want to spend more than $400...and I need something that won't over heat running in a closed trunk.

Try Crutchfield.com for some recommendations. They are highly regarded in the car audio business, and their support is great. One of their top sellers is the Pioneer GM-D9601 Mono sub-woofer amplifier — 1200 watts RMS at 1 ohm.

Ive been looking at budget amps for awhile now. Among those that I would suggest would be ...
Audiopipe, pioneer, rockford fosgate prime, jbl, kenwood, skar, hifonics and mtx. Those are the ones I remember off the top of my head. I saw dyno tests on most of em and they at least do rated. Im sure there are some more as well. You should be able to get something in the entry level for 400. Maybe even better. The ones i listed are more like budget amps. Good for daily drivers.
