Is this good?

Alright guys, its time for me to connect my system together, and i wanted to know if i should spend the money on it. I got a Pioneer deck, along with Pioneer 4x6 in front and 6x9 in the back, I've also got 2 Rockford Forsgates in a Bassworx box, which will then be powered by a ALPINE MRD M301 mono channel amplifier. So what do you guys think, this is my first system, im satisfied with the deck and the speakers, they work great, i wanted to know if the sub and amp combo is a good one or not. Thx for the advice.

sounds great man, if you want to improve it more, I'd add a Cap, as well I'd get a 4chn amp to run those mids/highs

what wire are you using?

I have thought about getting another amp for the speakers, but im just short of money at the moment. I have alot of expenses for these few months, that i need to take care of, as for wiring, i think ill be going with the stingers.

Since you need a total of 300rms at 2ohms the Alpine amp should do the trick just fine for you.

I would however recommend this: if you don't need the fancy crap that is in the Alpine amps (time correction, bass emphasizer thingy, digital readout, etc) then I would suggest buying a more stripped down amplifier with more power. You may decide that you want to upgrade in the future with more power and you could easily find a bigger stripped down amp for not much more than that Alpine.

Thats also an idea, hmmm ill look into it, thx for the advice.

but then again......alpine amps are just to adorable to look at....I mean who doesn't want to know the tempreture of the amp, or it's current draws:smokin:

but seriously....yeah if you're short on funds go with a "stripped" down amp. Alpine does have them, their V12 series, which if you have the money needed I totally recommend them, other wise try and pick up a deal from the classifieds. in the long run though you pay for what you get.

Your only weak spot seems to be that you are using your deck to power the 4x6's and 6x9's. I had a MRD-M301 when they first came out and I found it to be
all bling bling but no balls.

I understand where u guys are coming from, but also keep in mind, the subs that ive got are not very powerful, they are just there for everyday use, they make it fun, while keeping my head from ringing after i get out of the car, some people recommended me the amp, and ive read alot of good reviews about the amp as well, its true that its not as powerful, but for rockford P'1 it should be enough right?
