good 5 channel amp around $300

im looking for a new 5 channel amp.

my budget is $300.

my friend told me to get the alpine mrv-752. he said that that amp rocks and is very unrated.

what do u guys thing?

any recommendations?

I doubt you'll be able to find a 5 channel amp, brand new, for 300.00 in a retail store. That Alpine is from a few years ago. I know ebay has a few Kickers that are great amps that you may want to check out. There's a kx 700.5, an excellent 5 channel amp currently for $241 cdn. Here's the link;

I have the same suggestion. Kicker will give you nice power. Best deal. Go for that, cause you may not find any better bang for the buck. Alpines are usually overrated in terms of power.

300 bucks will buy you about 180 bowls of preserved egg kongee but not a new 5 channel amp

im not actually looking for a new amp. a used one would be fine.

how does the kicer one compare to the alpine one?

most 5 channels are quite expensive however some of our vendors sometime can play a little with pricing. So do not count out a new piece as it has warranty so might be worth the extra $50-150. ;)

always give the vendors a call first...you'd be surprised what they can do sometimes. Check the for sale section, great deals there sometimes...last year I got a 1200 watt Kicker amp for 400.00 Brand spanking new....retails for 1300.00 no kidding, I checked. Ended up selling it for 700.00...sweet!

I have a nice 5 channel PG Saphire, it's 5 1.0x in one chassis.

I ran two front componenet, rear component and one 12 L5 and it sounded great!

Only bad part is the sub doesn't have an LPL on it.

someone is selling a used JL Audio 500/5 for $450, i offer him 400.

is that worth it.

amp is in good condition.
