I ran a CT Eliminator in my car for the last 6 years. Flawless. I also like the Eveready ones from WalMart - I have put them in at least 4 cars and was always well satisfied for a moderately priced battery.

The Energizer one's from Walmart are awesome!
Costco Kirkland Signature batteries have good reviews as well.
Else, I would goto Car Quest and pick up a rebranded Deka.

Oh, thought you were just looking for a starter battery.

In that case, you'll be happier by doing big-3 upgrade and getting a second battery for your amps. Including a new one for under the hood.

For your speakers if they are aftermarket and say rated at 75RMS a piece and you have four of them, grab a 4-chan amp that does at least that per channel.

Well depends on your vehicle, you need to get the proper size in most cases.
If you go there they will have a catalog that will help you to choose the right one for your vehicle.
The Energizer one is excellent, especially for the price!

alright, but now when i go to choose one, if theres one thats $120, and one thats $180, which should i get? does the starting battery matter or no? in the FUTURE ill be gettin a deepcycle batt for the trunk, but the test showed i need a new batt, and sometimes when i go to start my car it hesitates like its low on juice, and im gonna be hooking up my system tommorow, so i guess ill find out how logn it lasts n thatll tell me if i need a new batt.. lol

There no economy/premium versions of Energizer, you just get the size that you need. All quality is the same. As far as I know even the largest battery is no more than $100.
You can get away with using two of these batteries for your system. No use in getting a deep cycle, it really serves no purpose in your application. If you need more power, upgrade your alternator and then consider AGM type batteries with greater capacity.

Alas, the energizer batteries are made by Johnson Controls. A very reputable manufacturer.

so u suggest buy a $100 batt for under the hood
