West Looking for local help (vancouver) tuning my pxa-h701

Hello

Mr. Noob here!

Got a used truck that came fairly well equipped in the stereo department.

IVA-W205 head unit
PXA-H701 processor
Focals in custom enclosures (center channel, tweeds, front and rear)
2x Kicker subs
3x alpine amps (one running the 4 speakers, one for the subs and one for the center)

I'm not a complete noob when it comes to car audio, used to build my own sub boxes and have installed lots of systems back in high school days. Well that was many years ago and I'm not ashamed to admit I need help tuning this beast.

Been reading posts and tutorials on this forum and that.. I can mess around and hear drastic change in the sound .. but still don't get the desired results.

I was hoping someone locally would be willing to spend an hour or two in exchange of your favorite beverage, karama points, or cold hard cash money and show me what to do with this thing ! At least get me started on the right path and I can take it from there.

I've only got this week to get some help learning this thing then I'm off to the middle of nowhere for a few months.. would like to have my truck sounding good for the long drives !

I was going to call up visions or car tunes or some other car audio shop and have them spend some time with this, but figured i'd ask here first!

Let me know if you would like to help !

Cheers

We set up the EQ using an RTA and adjusted my x-overs .. It def sounds better. however now the front speakers rattle a bit (need to dial back the midbass on them I think).. I also personally prefer a little bit sharper highs and harder hitting bass .. so still need to tweak !! but I have a good starting point

I think my main issue is my input source .. need to remedy that first. analog rca inputs from my iphone aren't going to cut it anymore. I think i'll get the alpine ipod cable and rip higher bitrate or lossless music on a dedicated ipod instead of plugging in my iphone all the time.

Thanks to SQMonster.
