Ok, tell me if this is a good, great, average or
bad deal.

A shop can give me an Alpine MRP-M350 amp and
Alpine 10" Type R DVC, as well as all required
cables to hook up the amp/sub (which includes 4
gauge wire) for: $600 (tax included)

is that including taxes? I found a place in Scarborough that was dealin me a 10" TYPE S Alpine sub in box + already mounted amp for the sub on the box + an amp kit for $565. (thats including taxes). A hint tho if u go into any audio shop and ask about them including an amp kit with the deal and they say no, just say well Future Shop does it so maybe I should just go there. Cuz thats what I did with that Scarborough place last month and thats how I got him to throw in the amp kit if I went with that deal lol. And I should'a went with that deal Im so stupid... lol

in this city, that amp costs 350, sub costs 249, so i would say you're getting a good deal.

Yea the deal (amp/sub/kit) includes taxes, so
for $600 flat I get that.

The kit however isn't a retail kit. The dude will
cut the wiring and stuff to make me a complete kit.

BTW, This is the same shop I bought my Alpine
deck from so I konw the guy.

No, I'm building the box myself. The box is
gonna cost me about $60-$70 to make (which
includes the wood/screws/glue and cuts).

For the $60-$70, I will end up with two identical
10" sub boxes (since I plan to get another 10"
sub later).

All in all, the amp/sub/wiring/box/taxes is gonna
cost me about $660CDN.
