I have finally escaped, I mean left FS. The bad news is I don't have any other job lined up. The good news I don't care at this point in time.

I hope everything works out for you, as I am sure it will

Dereck, welcome to the light side of the force. Sometimes change is a good thing, a real good thing. I have a forced change coming up myself, family has to come first.

Terry Alberts 02-07-2005 08:05 PM

wow man, I hope opprotunity comes of it for you.

Best of luck!

Joe, what happened to Marko?

TomK 02-08-2005 06:38 AM

Change is an interesting thing. Hope everything works out well for you. Good quality people are hard to find now-a-days.............. not that you're one of them :D

Ha, ha, ha..............just joking..... but had to beat DUKK to the abuse for once.

No job means more time to work on your car. No money.......... no problem. Cash in the RRSP's :D

back amongst the living, hoes it feel?

Dereck Waller 02-08-2005 08:30 AM

Well I have 150 hours of banked holiday pay, so for the next wek and a half I am just going to relax and get some work around the house done. After that I will be seeing about what the next step is. It feels really good to move on though. It seems like 4 years is the most amount of time I like to be at any particular job.

4 years? man if I had to put in another year to get up to 4 there I'd have gone play in traffic on highway 2

Terry Alberts 02-08-2005 10:28 AM

So you just had enough and walked out? Or was it a planned thing?

Merlin 02-08-2005 10:33 AM

yoda your a silly man. i miss watching you all wooped up on fiberglass dancing around the old bay haha.

Paul Niwranski 02-08-2005 02:10 PM

Well Dereck, can't say it is a total shock - you have been talking this way for some time now, even though you made it seem in jest.

Time to pack up and move yer ass out here along with Furley and the two of you can open a shop up with Tim and call it "XFS" :D

I hear ya. 3 years used to be my breaking point. That anniversary hits me at my current job in 4 days..

Pun fully intended I'm guessing.

Paul Niwranski 02-10-2005 02:24 PM

^ You're still in here? Haven't they closed down your A&B yet?

cujo 02-11-2005 10:45 AM

Nope. They haven't closed any and don't have plans too.

defro13 02-11-2005 11:25 AM
