Good small Ported Box Size?
#1
I want to go with a small ported box for my RF Z 12" sub. The Rf tech say go with a 2.0 cu ft box, but that pretty well takes up all my hatch space.
whats the smallest cu ft size I can go with a ported box?

I currently have my Kicker C10a in a 0.9 ft^3 ported box tuned to 29 Hz ... Of course, because I'm using a 3" port, most of my box is port inside
You can make it any size you want ... I've made a 0.4 ft^3 ported box for an 8" sub before (2" port) ...
JSYK, I'm stating net volumes here ... Not gross volume ...

Bass is space my friend!!!
the should be no compromise for a vented box, A smaller ported box than recommended is called a sealed box
