And I love it, sounds sooo much better then my old kenwood deck (KDC-222s). I think it sounds louder too.

Did a quick T/A till the Imprint stuff gets to town, then Ill get it done properly

The alpine I got today was the CDA-9887, and IMO it has alot of features o0, half of which i wont use, but I wanted T/A and imprint and the 24bit DAC Will help with SQ.

 

Are you planning on running an IPOD through it? Preouts on the deck seem strong?

 

Don't plan on the Ipod, I have a 1 Gig one, but only seem to use it when the powers out for tunes

Pre outs seem stronger for sure. ( think old kenwood was 1.8 or 2.0 ) Alpines 4.0 Im pretty sure.
