Hahaha, vehicles. Wow.

Alright, back in the day when I had my 94 blazer it would be impossible for anyone to hear my music while I cruize the streets. I am guessing that it was sealed very well because it was hard to hear any music (except vibrating parts of my vehicle from the bass) while standing outside of the vehicle. Then, when I changed my exhaust I could not even tell I had the subs on. I mean, I could crank it up and nobody would know I was listening to music.

I listen to some crazy music. Mainly techno and disco, anything that is out of the ordinary. Well, since I was accustomed to people not knowing what I listen to I was cruzing the streets today and people coming out of businesses would turn and look at me and I am like, wtf is going on? I mean, at that moment I had stock speakers and no subs but people kept looking at me. Well, I stopped to get some cash from the atm and I left my car running. I stepped out, shut the door, and started laughing because there was no difference between having the door open and shut. I mean, it was loud! Me, in my ugly ass aveo, with a fro on my head from swimming practice, and listening to some old school disco. And I head bang hard core. Now I realized why everyone was staring at me, hahahaha.

Just figured you guys would enjoy my crazy experience today.

Hahaha... kinda reminds me a couple weeks ago, I was out with some friends...
I'm a metal head, and my friends a pretty much metal heads and goths. So, we stop off at Petro Canada to grab something to drink. When I come back out, these guys in the car next to mine are listening to some beat... probably rap /hip hop as they were rolling up some joints with their caps on backwards and probably pants down to their knees.

So, I get back into the car, stick my Bela Fleck CD in (he's an awesome banjo player for those who don't know who he is), roll down the windows, and we start headbanging on this weird mix of bluegrass and jazz and whatnot !

The expressions on the faces when the guy beside us rolled down his window a bit was priceless...

Btw, for people going SQ, Bela Fleck and the Fleckstones : Outbound is an awesome CD to test out your system ! (imho).

The little tin boxes they make these days are pretty pourous as far as sound is concerned.

My friend has a pretty solid system in his mazda 3 and for as much money as he spent on it, Im amazed at how poorly deadened it is.

Time for some dynamat/edead. :)
Support the aftermarket industry.

I guess Aveo and other vehicles that are loud outside should be of the first consideration to those people who "wannabe hurd three blocks away naahmean".

yea my friend has a older blazer and you can hear him coming just by a little boom boom...then my car 90 daytona u hear me comin from the words of the music and everything vibrating haha but no boom from me...even though inside mine is louder than his ( as in bass)

My friend had two 15" kickers powered to the max a year ago, driving in his rusted up 1989 Civic... We got some weird looks...

Lol. And then today I started wonderin if they could hear me singing and then I realized that they could hear the speakers so well because they are in the doors, where in my blazer they were on the dash and the sound waves had to go through the door panel and the metal. I dunno though, just a guess. I think I may be purchasing some dynomat though.

This explains why i can't hear my music when outisde my car.. I guess its a nice asset.. until you put the windows down, then it becomes Loud and clear... I guess in the old days they really knew how to build a good car.. good ol oldsmobile cutlass. That car is like a cadillac.
